The Dubois County Museum welcomes the public to their third annual Model Train Show and Swap Meet on Saturday, October 20, from 10:00-3:00pm, at the museum at 2704 N. Newton Street in Jasper.  About thirty vendors will be on hand to buy or sell different types and sizes of train cars, sets, toys and accessories.  There will be several model train layouts displayed and running.  Included in the train sets will be the museum’s Train Room that is undergoing some renovation.  The Train Club is working to complete the tracks that will feature the countryside of Dubois County with about 50 feet of HO scale model trains. Also, back by popular demand, will be a display of a train, its scenery, and train buildings made entirely of Legos. The train set is owned by Donnie and Lori Richardson. They will be on hand to answer any questions visitors may have on the train set.  At the Train Show free parking will be available.  Concessions will be sold consisting of hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Admission will be charged with charges of $5 for adults, $3 for high school students, $2 for middle school and elementary students, and children ages 4 and younger are free.  Dubois County Museum members will be admitted free with their memberships.  Memberships for 2019 will be sold that day and can apply to the day’s admission.
