Cheering Our Champions!

Reminisce the good ole’ high school days as you walk through the Museum’s Sports exhibit leading you back in time.  Follow Dubois County’s favorite sports teams and stars from the late 1800s to the present day.

An extensive collection of pictures, uniforms, and other sports memorabilia will help you recall the excitement of cheering on your school champions.  Discover the Dubois County legends that have emerged such as Scott Rolen, Matt Mauck, Buddy Blemker, Paul Hoffman, Don Buse and Gene Tormohlen.

Be amazed by the extensive collection that includes an 1893 Jasper Red’s Baseball picture, a 1934 Gimbel Medal, and the first scoreboard hung in the 1952 Huntingburg Memorial Gym as well as the glass bank boards.  As you wind through the display, learn the importance of sports and see the pride in the athletes that has been revealed over the years.
