The Dubois County Museum will host their monthly Storytime Children’s program
on Saturday, October 10, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m. This year Storytime features
books by children’s authors. This month the author is Maurice Sendak . He wrote
Where the Wild Things Are. Our young visitors are invited to join local musician
Chris Dixon as he plays and starts the “Wild Rumpus” that Maurice Sendak speaks
of in his book, Where the Wild Things Are. Storytime will be held in the Log House
area today for more space to move. Coordinator Carrie Holdsworth will have
crafts after the stories and the activity. Admission charged. Memberships
available.
