The Dubois County Museum welcomes Santa for a visit on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the
Museum on 2704 N. Newton Street (US231) in Jasper. He will arrive at 9:00 a.m. and be on
hand to listen to Christmas Wishes till 11:00 a.m. at the Log House area. The museum will have
fresh baked cinnamon rolls and homemade muffins made by Shirley Schmitt of Celestine and
Doris Hulsman of Ireland. Fruit and breakfast drinks will also be available. Cost of the visit is $7
per adult and $5 per youngsters 10 and under. This admission also allows you to visit the
museum and take in the Christmas sights. Register to Cheryl Sermersheim by December 10.

games will also be available, and a fun scavenger hunt will take you around the museum in
search of Christmas surprises. New this year, Carrie Holdsworth will be reading stories at the
Log House area at 10:30 a.m. for all visitors. The annual Cookie Walk will also be held this
weekend, December 14 and 15th. The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm on December 14 and
1:00-3:30 p.m. (or when supplies run out) on December 15. The cookies and candies are made
by volunteers of the museum and ladies from Beta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa
Sorority of Dubois County. All proceeds of the sale benefit the museum.
