The Dubois County Museum at 2704 N Newton Street in Jasper, Indiana, is calling all amateur
photographers to participate in the first Annual Photo Contest. The theme of the contest is “Your
Favorite Photo”. The theme can be flowers, animals, landscapes, macro, etc. in color or black
and white. The photo must be taken by you. It does not have to be a picture from this year.
You may submit up to three photos. There is a $5 entry fee per photo. Minor editing is allowed
such as cropping, sharpness, color etc. There are three entry categories: Children-Ages 5 to 12,
Teens-Ages 13 to 19, and Adults-ages 20 and over. Photos must be a matted or framed, 8 X 10
photo size, (portrait or landscape) and brought to the Museum or mailed to 2704 N. Newton
Street, Jasper, IN 47546 by the deadline. Submit your entries from April 15 to April 30, 2024.
Photos will be on display for viewing and public voting from May 1 through June 2, 2024. The
public is encouraged to participate in the voting. There will be cash prizes awarded in each
category. There will also be a special award judged by local photographers. Winners will be

After the contest, all photos may be picked up at the Museum between June 4 and June 15, 2024.
