Partners hosting Dia de Muertos/Day of Dead at Museum
Have you ever visited or had the opportunity to create an Altar de Muertos?
You live in the right community to participate in this cultural immersive experience.
Dia de Muertos is sacred, it transcends beliefs, education, borders, it’s a day we honor the people we love who have died. These days are, as culture proclaims, a gate to receive the souls of our people, and that is why, we prepare Altars, to lead them to us. This is not about magic, this is about believing in love after death.
Dubois County Museum and Partners invite you to create an “Altar de Muertos” at our Museum.
We will display all teams Altars Monday, November 1, 2021, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM ET, with a “Day of The Dead Celebration”.
All Dubois County based businesses, schools, and groups can participate.

We will open the Museum on these specific dates in October to allow our teams to build their Altars:

Thursday, October 21st 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. (Spooky Streets Trick of Treating

El Día de Muertos es sagrado, trasciende las creencias, educación, fronteras, es un día en que honramos a las personas que amamos que han muerto. Estos días son una puerta para recibir las almas de nuestra gente, y por eso, preparamos Altares, para conducirlos hacia nosotros. No se trata de magia, se trata de creer en el amor después de la muerte.
El Museo del Condado de Dubois y sus socios lo invitan a crear un “Altar de Muertos” en nuestro Museo.
Mostraremos Altares para todos los equipos el lunes 1 de noviembre con una “Celebración del Día de los Muertos”
Todas las empresas, escuelas y grupos del condado de Dubois pueden participar.
Para inscribir a su equipo o si no tiene un equipo y quiere participar en la construcción del altar principal envíe un correo electrónico antes del lunes 11 de octubre de 2021 a: [email protected]
