Members of the Patoka Valley Amateur Radio Club will host a round-table discussion of amateur radio
capabilities on Sunday, January 19, 2025, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Dubois County Museum at 2704 N.
Newton (US 231) in Jasper. The public is invited. Visitors will learn what amateur radio capabilities give
us when communicating locally, nationwide, worldwide and in space via the International Space Station
and amateur radio satellites. Questions will be taken from the public and answered by the panel. The
club invites all to join them in this “out of this world experience” and discover the “Magic of Amateur
Radio”.
