On Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Dubois County Museum, Craig Berndt will present the story of the Railroads of Dubois County.
Scope:
The histories of
(1) the railroad that ran from French Lick through
Cuzco, Dubois, Jasper, Huntingburg and Johnsburg to Cannelton, Rockport
and Evansville.
(2) from New Albany through Birdseye, Mentor, Kyana, St.
Marks, Bretzville, Huntingburg and Duff to East St. Louis.
(3) from Ferdinand to Huntingburg.
Length: about one hour
Audience: It is not too technical and will appeal to adults and anyone interested in county railroad history and/or county history.
