The museum carries over 75 titles of books written by local authors. Dubois County is full of people who spend countless hours collecting history, interpreting and preserving it for generations to come. The Dubois County Museum is proud to carry all the local history books from all the towns. If we are missing one, we would love to know about it so we can carry that one also! We also carry books by the local Historical Societies and Genealogy Society.
To round out the selections, you can find a few novels or poetry by local authors sprinkled in. There are lots of books that are out of print and we scour around to find one here and there to keep spreading the history.
