The Dubois County Museum will host their 6th Annual Car Show on Sunday, August 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the museum at 2704 N. Newton Street in Jasper, IN. The show will be held in the shady area and parking lot behind the museum. It will be held rain or shine. Registration is from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Cost is $20 per vehicle the day of the show, or $15 per pre-registered vehicle. Pre-registration forms are due by August 3. The forms are available at the museum or on the Facebook page.
Concessions will be available by 10:00 a.m. Concessions will be serving charbroiled Merkley Meats- cheeseburgers, hamburgers, bratwursts and egg sausage sandwiches. Refreshments and novelty items also available.
Dash plaques will be presented to the first 100 cars entered in the show. Goody bags will be presented to the first 100 cars entered.
Judging begins at noon. Awards will be presented to Pre 2010 model year cars with Top 20 and Best of Show, to 2010 and newer models with Top 20 and Best of Show, a Special Interest Award, a People’s Choice Award, and the President’s Choice. Attendance prizes and drawings will be held all day to those cars entered.
The Dubois County Museum will open from 1-4:00 p.m. for visitors to enjoy seeing the Largest County Museum in the State with over 50,000 square feet of exhibits. Admission charged ($5 per adult) but goody bags contain free pass for those entered in the car show.

About the museum
The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00pm, Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00pm and Sunday 1:00-4:00pm. Closed on Monday.
Admission of $5 per adult, $3 for high school students, and $2 for middle and elementary students is charged. Visitors four and under are free. Those holding a current Dubois County Museum Membership are granted free admission.
The Dubois County Museum is a local nonprofit organization committed to the collection, preservation and interpretation of historical artifacts and information important to the citizens of the county. Museum operations are funded by annual memberships, admissions, donations and gifts from visitors, area residents and businesses. It is operated entirely by volunteers.
